All Time Low No Longer Signed To Hopeless Records?

Oh rumors rumors and more rumors. Is All Time Low signed to Interscope Records? According to this video, Alex Gaskarth confirms that they are. Nothing Personal is still and will be on Hopeless Records. The next record will be released on Interscope.

Anyone else notice that there are only 2 comments and not that many views? You would think that there would be thousands of comments. Some defending their favorite band saying that they aren't selling out and others saying"LYK ZOMG ATL R BECOMING S3LL 0UT$!!!"

"Good Charlotte's Benji Madden told Billboard the group is shooting for a fall release for its next Epic album. Expect "more straightforward rock, maybe taking it back to our first or second record," he said. Madden is especially psyched for the song "Love Ain't Easy," which he promises is "really catchy. We love the catchy hooks." Good Charlotte may tour later this year with new Interscope band All Time Low, whose frontman, Alex Garskath, joined Madden on the red carpet." (Source)

I checked the artists under Interscope and All Time Low wasn't listed..? Some say they are selling out. Others disagree. I think that people confuse the terms selling out and becoming more popular/maintstream. As long as the bad stays in it for the passion for music and don't become consumed with money and fame, they aren't selling out. I'm not necessarily saying that All Time Low are or aren't selling out.

What do you think of the different record label? Is All Time Low becoming a sell out?

There's nothing wrong with being successful and being signed to a major label. Kids just have to feel cool and listen to bands that ~no one's heard of and ~want the band all to themselves, not exposed and out there on a major label.
And tbh, I don't really listen to All Time Low much at all any more. I don't think they're a buncha sell outs or think any crappy things of them, I've just lost interest in their music.

becoming successful doesnt mean that youre selling out
i would think that thats what a true fan would want for the band they like
and i will love all time low as long as they are still making good music!

Personally I'd love them to make their sound more like how their first two records were. I don't think it matters what label a band is on as long as they let them make the music they want and they are happy with it and the direction the label tries to put them in.

Okay, so was anyone else proud of Alex and how he handled the questions? Everyone calls Forever The Sickest Kids fake as well since they signed to a pretty major label off the bat but got for All Time Low for taking the leap of faith and doing what they think is best. Screw anyone who calls them sells outs. They don't know shit.

I hate whne people call a band "sell-outs" just because they get popular, get a life people. I think Interscope will take them places they've never gone before, Hopeless records could only get them so far. As long as ATL keep making good music, I'll be a fan.

This is old news. And I want to stab people who say things like 'sell out'. Really grates me.
I agree with Claire and everything she said. I'm also tired of their music. Plus, their faces are annoying.

well i think that if you ask any real all time low fan they will agree that they like probably 2 songs on Nothing Personal and that The Party Scene is their best album by far but there's nothing wrong with them switching labels. If they started having costume changes every 30 seconds on stage then maybe we could call them sell outs. as for now, some fans are just having difficulty realizing that theyre not the only ones listening to all time low. Since they still came to the small venue in my city then i guess theyre still safe...for now

I'm not upset at all they're signing to another record company. They're still gonna be them, you know? And while I do like Hopeless, it doesn't change anything about them.
And I hate when people call them sell outs! It's so stupid, because just because they're becoming more popular doesn't mean they don't love all their fans, you know? Plus, it's good they're popular, because they're fulfilling what they've always meant to do : D
And I REALLY hate when fans give up on them because they didn't meet them at a show or something, or one song is out of genre. Or they call them sell outs because of that. Because it means they really weren't as loyal as they said they were. And it's not like every band out there tries to meet fans, so they should be grateful they try, you know?
I love them, and always will no matter what : )
And dang Jenny (I just noticed that's your username haha), you're really good with this news stuff!

Okay, sorry for commenting AGAIN haha, but I just noticed how amazingly good Alex sounded with those answers! He sounded so professional and using words like fickle, it's just so cool how he can be all hilarious at times and serious at others : )
Oh! And I also want to add that I personally LOVED Nothing Personal. Just because it's a little different people are giving up? It just perplexes me deeply.
I feel so bad for them with the whole sell out thing! They're trying as hard as they can, and they do love all their fans, so when people say that it just makes me so angry! Ugh, so frustrating.
Buzzed : )

There's nothing wrong with changing labels as long as they recogniE that they became known from the help of Hopeless. Ohh & a tour with Good Charlotte & All Time Low?? Awesome!!

i personally think that All Time Low is kinda "Betraying" hopeless
I mean,
they're who made All Time Lowas big as they are.
Hopeless signed them right out of highschool
Hopeless, i guess you can say, kinda saved their asses?
I mean,
what the hell would these guys be doing if the whole band thing didnt work out?
I kinda went off subject,
but i think you understand what im saying.
Lol
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happends.
Maybe nothing will change but the little logo on the CD.
Who Knows.

if there still making music, im happy.
thepartyysceneXD: 11/03/2009 6:44 AM
i dont have a problem with them changing record labels, i just wish there weren't going to be even more people at concerts, making it harder to obtain tickets.
haithereliv: 11/03/2009 9:56 AM
who gives a fuck if they signed to interscope? as long as they are still around and they dont just vanish. i just hope they dont become like boys like girls or some other bands who have "sold out" just to get fame or whatever. i hope all the bands i love right now dont do that. i hope they stay true to there word and knowing all time low they will. im happy they got a deal with interscope thats just amazing!
