buhbye freshman year!

IM NO LONGER A FRESHMAN! I'm kinda sad though because that means I'm 1/4 done with highschool. Ahhhh! This year was sooo much fun. It went by insanely fast. I don't know why but I thought it was going to be terrible. I loved it. I miss 8th grade sometimes, but I still like 9th grade. I heard sophomore year is the best because you don't have to do anything.. so I'm pretty excited.

Yesterday, I had to play at graduation since I'm in the band. I'm quitting next year though. That class was seriously a joke. It was fun, but I'm taking art instead. We played Pomp & Circumstance (Processional) & (Recessional) a bunch of times. It's been stuck in my head for the like past month. sigh.

Today I went to Panera for the like 3rd time this week. hahah. It's amazing. Love that place! I also saw Night at the Muesum 2. ITS HILARIOUS. Everyone has to go see it. You won't be dissapointed.

This Sunday I leave for New York City & Atlantic City in New Jersey for a week or 2. I'm sooo excited. Any suggestions of where I should visit??

-Colin Healy and the Jetskis

actually sophomore and junior year were the most difficult for me academically. that geometry and then chemistry...wtf! ha i failed chem the first time around and the only reason i passed geometry was because my teacher didn't want to have to deal with me another time around. which she did, because i then had her for alg 2. i'd say sophomore year is the most fun socially though, people kind of start to grow up a little bit. idk that was me.

really? i HATE geometry. i had to take it freshman year. it was easy once you understood it but it was soo hard. it would take me days to understand whatever we were learning and then my teacher would move onto something new. i heard that chem was really hard but fun if you had a good teacher. hahah, at least you passed. ;) was alg 2 hard? im taking that next year.

well if you already got rid of geometry you are already a step up from what i was at lol. i had a horrible alg 2 teacher, and i don't understand math for the life of me. but, if you understand basic alg before going into alg2 you are probably going to be alright. aaannnndddd chem is super fun, just a lot of math. so theres where i had issues. i think they say if you are good at algebra then chemistry will come easily (if i remember correctly)
what kind of extra curricular classes are you taking? just curious. i love learning what other people are into :)

wooo, im a beast at algebra! my 8th grade teacher made us memorized all the formulas and crap. it was his religion, i swear. im taking chem junior year. i don't want to because that's the year with all the SATs and testing. ughh. not looking forward to it at all. i used to be in the band, but im not taking it this year. it was fun, but i'd rather take other classes. im taking art 1, spanish 3, and food & nurition. haha. i also play field hockey. and im part of the photography club and some other clubs that raise awareness about hunger/slavery and all that stuff.

it will probably be a good thing to take chem your junior year, it actually helps with the sats a lot.
